Uncle Deadly STEP 1

Ok so to start off I put the sketch on its own layer and I change the layer property to "multiply" This allows me to paint on a layer below it and still be able to keep the line work visible. The paints and brushes will not change the line work unless I paint on that line work layer. Next I will go through with the airbrush and establish my light sources for the pic. This establishes color and value. I will usually experiment with different colors to get the mood I want.
